Yes the Chinese market is a fickle 1, the restrictions can be daunting but it is such a huge market many a prepared to go there.

Not going to bother with it, if comes a time I can't plex my accounts I'll decide what to do then. If duping some overseas company for a discount is what it takes then why not. It does seem to be the prevailing opinion anyway, why should i do anything different

My intention wasn't to troll you. It was to show how your example of China was flawed and wrong, all while pointing out that CCP is ALREADY China (so, even if your China example would've been valid, you still argued right past your own request)
However:
(A) I didn't pick China as an example, YOU did. I ran with your example.
(B) SEA is a very lucrative market, yes, it encompasses mostly TW, SG, KOR, JPN. I put AU as their own region in Sales/Marketing terms because of cultural and language similarities with EU/US. CHN is a separate market because of legislation and hurdles. It also is potentially large enough to encompass the rest of SEA.
(C) I AM in this region, I do live and work in China at times, as well as the rest of SEA, so I pretty much can sing ballads of the troubles one can have to play MMOs from here, Credit Cards being rejected, Purchases not going through, special Offers not applying, English versions not being available and the Download link rejecting regional IP addresses, etc etc etc....
(D) I will repeat this for you : You are Whining about not having access to a special offer. I will put this in words that might be more straight : If you can't afford 15 USD / month for EvE and must stop playing, you better put this gametime to use and look for another employer.
But you are not entitled to offers that are limited to a region. you are not entitled to drive the car you want and ask for an offer applicable in america in your AUS dealership. Should you not be able to afford a car, then do not drive.
(E) I found for the periods of time when I have a project in China, that getting PLEX was a PITA, because many resellers will reject a Credit Card from Hong Kong, registered to a European Citizen with a temporary residence in China. Something about scam/fraud flags jumping up and dancing in a merry circle.
I am very well able to PLEX my accounts with ISK now. You can contact me in-game if you need pointers or support. This is meant in an honest way. I know how much of a pain it can be in this region.
(F) Last but not least, if I ever would have to buy PLEX again for the accounts, I used to buy them online, in China, for about 20 EURO / 60 DAY GTC / 2PLEX. That's less than going one night for dinner, really. I don't know what you usually pay and how much your budget is.
I believe your whole OP is wrong and an unsubstantiated and selfish whining request.
